Using a 2d non-periodic tiling technique similar to that first seen in Entangled, this work features extruded, non-repeating, ordered patterns from which emerge more natural fractal-based shapes at various intervals. Additionally, thousands of small white spheres stick like barnacles to all areas of the extruded surfaces. This was my first use of the technique of non-periodic tiling to form complex, non-repeating geometries within a 2d grid in the image space.
